Scanning a QR Code
What actually happens when our QR code is scanned?

When someone scans our QR code on your tools or your van, their phone will check the status of the tool or van on our QR SECURE database and display the information on their phone.
At the same time, the QR SECURE database will notify you on your phone (or other device) that the tool has been found, together with its location.

Laser Etching QR Codes
When we QR SECURE your van, we will laser etch our unique QR code in various places inside and outside the van. The most important place is on the windscreen, where the QR code is actually laser etched inside the glass so that it cannot be tampered with from the outside.

Tap-n-Dash
Our unique Tap-n-Dash system is a simple way for you to set the parked location of your van. It's an NFC tag which you stick on your dashboard. When you park your van, just tap this tag with your phone and the QR SECURE system will store the current location of your van. If the QR code on the VAN is scanned and the van is not where it's supposed to be, you will be notified immediately. You can also display a message to the person scanning the QR code.
Note - the Tap-n-Dash tag does not require any batteries. It's powered by the wireless signal from your phone when in close proximity. The NFC feature and location services on your phone must be enabled for Tap-n-Dash to work.
